I absolutely love my hair, have gotten a ton of compliments on it today at work and my boyfriend loves it. Thank you so much, I will definitely be continuing with this going forward and long term. I love everything about this salon and the girls that work here. I got my first set of extensions about 3 months ago, super nervous, I mean this is a major investment! So I finally bit the bullet and went in for a consult. They were wonderful, I felt really confident and excited.
Extensions can transform your look, and for me they did. I love them! I have to admit that I did get a little lazy toward the end of their life span and didn't brush like I was instructed to. I did come back with a few tangles and they patiently combed them all out, you would never hear a hint of frustration or 'well we told you so' from them. They are all just lovely people.
The other thing I've seen is that it's always the same staff, these girls love working here you can see it. That says a lot about the owner.
Anyway, I just went in last night for my removal and new set. A lady with this LOOONG, beautiful, gorgeous head of all her own hair came in and she was getting a pretty intense color treatment, her stylist of more than 10 years had moved to the midwest so she had to go out looking for a new stylist. She was very nice, the stylist asked her tons of questions and really drilled down to what she wanted. I did think that she looked a little concerned, but she was being nice. Anyway, by the time she was done and her hair was being styled, she looked AMAZING, she was positively glowing.. and her hair was picture perfect. After she left I mentioned this to the girl that had done her hair and she was just so pleased, she was happy that it turned out so well and I'm sure she has a customer for life.
They have one in me, I love it there! it's like visiting with your best girlfriends and getting all prettiefied at the same time. If you are considering extensions and aren't quite sure, do it. Go here. What are you waiting for??!!! Go and tell them Lisa (the one with the little black poodle) sent you!

Mermaid hair has a program for Pink hair during the month of October, which I love knowing that this money goes to Cancer researh anyways I had an appointment on a Saturday morning on my way there It just so happened on my way there the freeway was shut down I called mermaid to tell them I was going to be late and I spoke with the receptionist and explained my situation I'm not too familiar with the area but she went on the computer while she had me on the phone and helped me get to mermaid she went above and beyond customer service I had a bad experience with my hair about six months ago at another salon but I will be going to mermaid hair for my extension everyone there was really nice to me very helpful and knowledgeable about what they do Thank you Mermaids for all your help and your friendliness you made me have such a wonderful day!

I am going to join all the kudos this place already got. I absolutely love love what they did. It looks soooo good like I was born with it. If you are not used to some serious styling then maintenance may be a bit challenging but in the end it's worth every min you spend on it. The hair feels and looks very natural. And more importantly - it doesn't seem to be "overdone". Only close family and friends notice that I got extensions. Everybody else just compliments on "great hair":) I have never felt more beautiful. Thanks guys! I am definitely planning on keeping going there. Money very well spent. Even my husband agrees :)

By far the best place to get extensions. They are all simply the best. From the moment you sit down you will be confident knowing they are very educated and know that they are giving you the best advise on weather or not extensions would be right for each individual. I have been going here for the past 3 1/2 years. I'm in the beauty industry myself and not one of my clients has ever known that I have extentsion. That really is the goal is to have the hair that you only dreamed of and to have everyone thinks it is all yours. Hands down the best place out there. Love all of the girls. I recently got a Brazilian Blowout and a color treatment for my hair at Mermaid Hair Extensions, and I can't tell you how many compliments I've received in the last week! My hair is very smooth and shiny. The ladies at Mermaid are very professional and very personable as well - time flew by during my appointment... they clearly know what they are doing. The salon was PACKED - (I was the only newbie - everyone else was a repeat client) and I think this is a true testament to their talents. the other gals were getting extensions and it was really fun to see their results. Highly recommend!

I have thick, long, beautiful hair thankyou to the ladies of Mermaid Hair Extensions. Not only does my hair look natural, but it's the whole experience of being there. Each and every women that works there takes pride in there work and are geniune inside and out. You can tell they love what they do and are so helpful when a lot of times I go in not knowing exactly what I want. I always walk out of there feeling like a million bucks. If you care for your Hair, then dont dare trust it to anybody but Mermaids.
My wife has tried many Extensions, and she and I know there are poor quality Extension products, average, and then there are The Best. Same with the the Services - Either they know what they are doing, or they are learning - on you!
Mermaids is an original - they have experience, and they care about your hair. And when my wife gets the best, she looks the best and feels the best.
And I really love it that when my wife feels good, I feel good! And she's a knock-out when Mermaids takes care of her.
There may be cheaper options out there, but I get what she pays for......

Mermaid hair has made me feel beautiful. I have thin, fine, limp hair and for the first time in my life I've felt pretty.
I would travel just to get extensions with them.
They have worked around my odd schedule and therapy dog, and treated me so kindly.
They are the best, people are shocked to find out I have extensions.

This is truly a great place. They make you feel like a pampered diva. A cold drink and some girl talk too...sooo fun! I have baby fine hair and have always dreamed of long pretty hair.They made my dream come true! I live in Eastern Wa and make the trip to Mermaid every couple months. It's so worth the drive. My hair looks fabulous and feels great. I always leave feeling beautiful. Thanks girls! You all are wonderful.

After doing weeks of research I found Mermaid extensions. They were so professional and very attentive to what I wanted. Thanks to the ladies at Mermaid hair extensions I now have the beautiful long hair I have always wanted. I'm so happy with my results the color match is right on and no one can tell it's not my hair. This place is amazing! If you have ever wanted hair extentions i highly recommend it. I have been there twice now and LOVE it. Along with getting THE best extentions, what meant the most to me, was feeling comfortable about getting extentions at my age (41). The staff is postive, and you can really tell they care about doing the best job.

I've had hair extension for many years. I've worked with many stylists. I can honestly say these girls at mermaid are the best! They know it all! They also have the best prices in town while delivering the best customer service. What would I do with out my mermaid girls? I love them!

I've been going to Mermaid Hair Extensions in Kirkland for over two years now, and each time have been absolutely thrilled with the results. The hair is of the best quality and the stylists are very kind and professional and really know what they are doing. Even after several sets of extensions from this salon, I have never had any damage to my hair or scalp. My hair is naturally very fine, and having the long hair I've always wanted has honestly changed my life for the better!

Look at me --- I have gorgeous hair! And I owe it all to these women. The hair is amazing quality and perfectly matches my own color and texture. The bonds were perfectly done and are very strong yet nice and comfortable. I've had extensions before, but these are totally different. The gals at Mermaid took my hair from short to long in one morning --- did I mention that my hair looks gorgeous now? Really, I highly reccommend. Worth every penny for no more bad hair days.

I'd gotten a new corporate job training fellow hair stylists and wanted to give my style a boost. I went to the only place that could match my hair color so well that even stylists couldn't tell I'd gotten extension, which is saying a lot. Love you all

Every time I have gone to Mermaid Hair Extensions, their customer service is top notch! They are always focused on quality and making sure you get exactly what you want. I always will go back to get my extensions at Mermaid!

This was my very first time getting extensions and I have naturally curly hair. Many of the other salons that I spoke with during my researching phase told me that it would cost more because naturally curly hair is harder to come by. Do not be fooled by their gimmics such as "they last as long as 8 month" "no damage done to you hair" ect. The only real place that is honest about what you get is Mermaid Extensions. My experience was wonderful. The ladies were helpful in putting my fears to rest and reassured me that everything is going to be fine. I went in for my consultation on a Wednesday and they applied my extensions that Saturday. It only took them about 2 1/2 hours to do them and I walked out of their with beautiful long naturally curly hair. I got them done right before thanksgiving and had family photos that weekend. No one could tell that I had extensions in and I received tons of complements on my hair. I am definantely going to go back after the 3-4 months and have a mini-mermaid done to keep the extensions going. Like all new things they take a little getting used to but after a few days it just feels natural. My head felt heavy for the first few days but come Monday morning it all felt natural. They did such a wonderful job matching the texture and the color to my natural hair that everything blends together and you cannot tell I have extensions. If you are even contiplating getting extensions set-up a consultation with these ladies and your mind will be made up, mine was. They wil put in a sample extension and leave it in for you so you can feel what it is like. P.S. this was the only salon on the eastside and seattle that included the removal and maintenance in the original price of the extensions. Other salons... gene juarez, aveda etc charge you extra and their extensions are much much more expensive. Thank you ladies for the wonderful job and making me happy, proud of my hair, and for getting me hooked! :-)

I have used Mermaid hair extensions for two years and love them. Now, not only does my hair look incredible with the extensions, but my own hair has never been healthier thicker or longer. My hair is protected from the heat treatments that I always had to use before I had the extensions. I love them and the wonderful girls at the salon. Purely professional and a lot of fun too!!!

I had long hair down to my bottom for a very long time and out of the blues I decided to chop off my hair because I fell into the "Victoria Beckham bob" trend. That was the biggest mistake ever for me. I missed my long hair and I didn't have the patient to wait 6 plus years to grow my hair out again. I did some research online to check out the many methods and options of hair extension available and thank goodness I came across Mermaid Extension website. It took me a long time to finally decide to get extensions and so for my birthday, I convinced my fiance to pay for my extensions. It was the best gift ever!! I love my extensions so much. The talented women that brought life to my short, dull hair are absolutely amazing. I recieved so many compliments on how natural and real my extension looked. I feel like my extension is an entity on its own because many people who knows me always ask how my hair is doing! To keep it short, I am absolutely thrilled to have come across Mermaid Extensions. The quality is exceptional and the service is priceless. Thank you so much! Now I don't have to pout looking at old videos and photos of myself with long hair because I have long, beautiful hair again! :)

I first went to mermaid a year ago this month. My hair was a little over an inch long, growing out from a group of us girls shaving our heads to support a friend in a losing battle with cancer. There was a concern that my hair may be too short to blend but Cindi (the owner) said she would give it a try. Cindi and her girls gave me perfectly blended shoulder length hair. I fell in love with the look and thickness the extensions have provided.They lasted me between 3 and 4 months. I have had my hair redone 3 times now, and everytime I have looked forward to visiting with the girls while they make me feel and look beautiful. The product has been consistant and the bonds have not damaged my hair in the least. THank you ladies for making me feel like a girl again!!

This place is the best thing to happen to my hair in a long time. I've finally discovered a way to get natural looking highlights/lowlights that won't fry my hair. The extensions look totally natural and as healthy as my own hair and I can hardly feel them. No one can tell I have extensions, but I had to write a review because everyone was asking who did my awesome highlights! The people who work there are very friendly and professional with a positive attitude. I will definitely keep going back.

I was getting married last summer and decided to treat myself to the one thing that I had always wanted- thicker hair! I actually came across the Mermaid salon after looking for wedding dresses in Kirkland, and after some research ended up finding that they were the best deal around price wise for what kind of quality hair was being used! I was very happy with the results that I had with the "volumizing procedure" and my hair looked beautiful for my wedding day- and on my honeymoon it was extremely easy to take care of and style on the go! I was very impressed how quick the ladies at the salon were able to order in the hair, and I always get compliments on how great it matches my natural hair color- no one knows that I have extensions unless I tell them! When I first went in for a consultation they warned me that having the extensions are addicting- and they were definately right! After I removed the first set- I decided I needed a drastic change- so i chopped off all of my blonde hair and dye it really dark brown, and it only took me about a week after that to re order some more hair and add it back in! I have had such a wonderful experience from Mermaid Hair that I would definately recommend any procedure to anyone to add a little volume or length to their natural hair- it's a fun enviroment, and very easy process to go thru for awesome results!

Going to Mermaid Hair Extensions was truly a life changing experience! Every day when I wake up, I can't believe that I have long, thick, knockout blonde hair. My hair was very short and thin and I have never been able to get it to grow long. The girls at Mermaid gave me a whole new look (and attitude) in just a few hours, and it was actually fun because they are so nice there and really make you feel special. The salon is very professional and they really listen to find out what you want to do with your hair. They explain everything about how to care for your hair and what the process will be and are very down to earth. When I first walked into Mermaid Hair Extensions in March of 2006 I had just gotten my hair cut too short and was dreading the time it would take to grow it out. When I walked out three hours later I couldn't believe it, I had the hair that I always wanted. My own hair is naturally thin, frizzy and hard to grow long, I've always been envious of long thick, shiney hair and now I have it. I like to change the color of my hair frequently and Cindy and Christy do an amazing job matching it and adding highlights. I did quite a bit of research before choosing the type of hair extensions that I felt were right for me. I chose the "bonding" method since it seemed to be easiest on the hair and scalp and would give me the best results. I then started asking different stylist on the Eastside who they felt the experts were for this type of hair extension. Hands down, I was told it was Christy and Cindy at Mermaid Hair Extensions in Kirkland. Actually I was told they were not only the best on the Eastside, but probably the entire state. They have been doing my extensions since July of 2006 and I couldn't be happier. Their attention to detail is unmatched. I'd highly recommend them to anyone who is interested in hair extensions without hesitation.

My extentions have been problem free and my hair has not sustained any damage from them.
